Player/Parent Responsibilities
Commitment
ICPFC’s program is designed for the player and his/her family, who is serious about developing as a player and maximizing team performance. In order for this to occur, players must be committed to attend training sessions and spend time on their own improving their individual technique. Although some players may wish to participate in other sports or activities, soccer is expected to be your top priority. Coaches and trainers will do their best to resolve and/or accommodate any conflicts or issues with players and parents whenever possible.
Player Responsibilities
Players are expected:
1. Attend all training sessions, matches, tournaments and meetings unless you have been excused by your coach. When a conflict does arise, notify your coach as soon as possible.
2. Be on time to all functions. For training sessions, please try to be at the field at least 15 minutes before start time. Games and tournaments, please try to be at the fields a minimum of 30 minutes before game time.
3. To bring all necessary equipment to all games and training sessions.
            Shin guards
            Full water bottle
            Proper uniform/warm ups/clothing
            Appropriate footwear
            Soccer ball
4. To come with the proper attitude and desire to be the best that you can be. At training sessions and matches be prepared physically and mentally to train and work hard.
5. To display proper behavior and respect towards teammates, officials, coaches, opposing teams, and private property at all times.
Parent Responsibilities
Parents are expected:
            1. Be a role model for proper behavior.
            2. Encourage your player to take responsibility for their play, behavior, punctuality, communication between coaches and teammates, proper nutrition and hydration.
            3. Be positive in comments as a spectator to the players, officials and the opposing team. Please remember, coaching is our job.
            4. Never approach the players, player’s bench or coaches during a match.
            5. Inform coaches/trainers of any medical conditions that may effect your child.
            6. Pay fees promptly. If there is an issue, please discuss it with your coach. ICPFC will do it’s best to help make suitable arrangements.
